Rising Stars Football Clubs

Developing the skills & minds of children through the beautiful game

The Rising Stars Football club represents a modern, child-friendly approach to youth football, challenging the win-at-all-costs mentality that has previously been stifling development and enjoyment for children.

Specialising in developing primary school-aged children, we offer mixed gender football clubs as well as Girl’s only clubs. Children receive a rounded football education that not only focuses on their physical and technical development but also the psychological and social elements for players.

The Rising Stars coaching philosophy is heavily influenced by the FA’s mini soccer programme as well as European and worldwide training methods that place a key emphasis on ball mastery. We have created a pathway for children to progress through our football club and be challenged each step of the way. Innovative training sessions sit at the core of our offerings and we add structured competitive fixtures against selected clubs.

Weekend Football Clubs

Reception & Year 1 Groups:
Developmental sessions to build up core foundation skills and movements. Progress basic techniques and move into small sided games to encourage team play and learning of the rules.

U7 Age Group: 1 – 2 Match days per term
For many children, this is often the first experience playing sport against children who they are unfamiliar with.

U9 Age Group: 3 – 4 Match days per term
As children grow developmentally and cognitively, the periods of competition can increase further as their views of the world start to widen.

U11 Age Group: 4 – 5 Match days per term
Children can now start to understand whether a team beats them because they tried harder or they were better players, something they cannot often do before this age.
