A Home Away From Home
Our Wraparound Care at Akiva School provides children with a safe, welcoming and engaging environment before and after the school day. Delivered by Rising Stars Activities, our programme gives children the opportunity to relax, socialise, be active and take part in exciting activities in a caring and nurturing setting.
Whether your child enjoys arts and crafts, sports, board games or simply spending time with friends, every session is designed to be enjoyable while supporting their confidence, independence and wellbeing.
Breakfast Club
7:30am – 8:45am
Children enjoy a healthy breakfast before taking part in calm, free-choice activities such as games, colouring and creative play before being safely escorted to school ready for the start of the day.
From £6.80 per session
After School Club
3:15pm – 6:00pm
Children are collected directly from school by our Rising Stars team and escorted to Finchley Cricket Club, where they enjoy an afternoon packed with exciting activities before being collected by parents.
From £19.00 per session

How Collection Works
There’s no need to collect your child from school before club—we’ll take care of everything.
Our qualified Rising Stars team safely collects children from Akiva School and escorts them to Finchley Cricket Club.
Reception children are collected directly from their classroom by a Rising Stars staff member.
Children in Years 1–6 meet a Rising Stars staff member, easily identifiable in a high-visibility vest, at the designated bench in the playground before walking together to the club.
The walk to Finchley Cricket Club is fully supervised using a safe walking route, ensuring children are accompanied by our team at all times.
A Typical Afternoon
Every afternoon follows a familiar routine, helping children feel settled while giving them plenty of freedom to choose activities they enjoy.
3:15pm – 3:45pm
Children are collected from school and walk to Finchley Cricket Club.
3:40pm
Snack time and Welcome Circle.
From 3:50pm
Children choose from a variety of exciting activities including:
- Multi-sports and outdoor games
- Arts & crafts
- STEM challenges
- Board games and puzzles
- Construction and creative play
- Team games
- Seasonal themed activities
- Quizzes and challenges
5:30pm
Closing Circle.
6:00pm
Home time.

Snack Time
Children enjoy a supervised snack break shortly after arriving at the club.
Please provide your child with a healthy snack from home. To help keep everyone safe, children are not permitted to share food due to allergies.
Collection From Club
Parents collect their children from Finchley Cricket Club between 5:30pm and 6:00pm.
To ensure every child leaves safely:
Children are only released to authorised adults listed on your booking.
Our team will always verify the identity of the person collecting.
Staff are happy to provide a brief update on your child’s afternoon at collection.
