Understand our booking, refund and safeguarding policies.
Refund Policy – Birthday Parties
Birthday Party deposits are refundable for the first 48 hours. After this time, birthday party deposits are non refundable
If a birthday party is cancelled due to a medical issue, a doctor’s note will be required. The deposit is non refundable but no further charges will be incurred
If a birthday party is cancelled due to a non medical issue, Rising Stars Activities are entitled to receive the remaining balance due for the party entertainment for up to 20 children
Refund Policy – Holiday Clubs
More than 14 calendar days prior to the camp start date: The client is eligible for a 90% refund of the booking fee or a full credit toward a future booking.
Within 14 calendar days prior to the camp start date: The client is eligible for a 50% refund of the booking fee or a full credit toward a future booking.
Within 48 hours prior to the camp start date: Cancellations are subject to management’s discretion and review.
Refund Policy – Sports Clubs
Medical reason: Full credit note for sessions missed if your child cannot attend 2 or more sessions due to injury or medical reasons. A doctor’s certificate will be required. Other reasons: at the discretion of the management
Forced Closure
If Rising Stars Activities are forced to close due to factors beyond our control such as bad weather, power cut, boiler breakdown, infectious disease breakout, the customer will be liable for fees incurred during the entire period.
Personal Property
Rising Stars Activities will not accept liability for any loss/damage to personal property. We strongly advise that personal property that is valuable is not brought into any of our venues.
Mobile Phones and Electronic Device
We strongly advise that mobile phones and electronic devices are not brought into any of our venues. In the event of a mobile phone or electronic devices being brought into camp, the mobile phone/ electronic device will be stored in a secure location due to safeguarding. Rising Stars Activities will not be liable for any loss or damage to a mobile phone or electronic device.
Health and Safety
It is the responsibility of the parent/carer to ensure that Rising Stars Activities are provided with all relevant and up to date information regarding the child’s health. To maintain appropriate levels of health and safety all children with EHCPs and additional needs will be required to discuss needs with our office prior to attending the booking. Children with physical, medical or behavioural challenges or those who can not provide the relevant level of skill or understanding to participate in an activity safely may not be able to participate.
Late Collections and Exclusions
Rising Stars Activities reserves the right to decline/ cancel a booking or exclude any child if we deem behaviour of the child to be inappropriate, dangerous and affecting the wellbeing of other children and staff. This is at the discretion of management. No refunds will be given for the session attended however any session cancelled by Rising Stars Activities due to exclusions will be refunded.
