Founder’s Message – March 2026

Hi everyone,

February half term camp has just finished and I wanted to say thank you to everyone who joined us.

It was a great week. The children brought loads of energy every day and it was brilliant seeing so many friendships forming across the different activities.

One of the highlights for me was watching our new laser gun activity. The kids absolutely loved it and the competitive spirit kicked in very quickly.

We’ve now been running camps at the VeloPark for several months and it continues to be an incredible venue for us. The Olympic history of the place still stands out every time I walk in. There’s something quite special about seeing children running around and playing sport in a space originally built for the London 2012 Games.

It’s a great environment for them to spend their holidays.

I also want to say thank you to Emily, Angela and the coaching team. From the outside camps can sometimes look easy, but there’s a huge amount of effort that goes into creating the right environment for children. They care a lot about making sure every child feels comfortable when they arrive and leaves having had a great day.

Looking ahead to the summer, one thing I’m particularly excited about is football.

With the men’s World Cup coming up there’s always a noticeable buzz around the game. Children start talking about their favourite players more and you see them trying new skills in the playground.

Because of that we’re running a Futsal camp at Parliament Hill School which will focus specifically on football skills and technique.

Futsal is one of the best formats for developing young players. The smaller pitch and faster pace means children are constantly involved and get far more touches of the ball. It’s a great way to improve control, decision making and confidence with the ball.

If your child loves football it should be a brilliant experience.
