Founder’s Message – September 2026

Hi everyone,

September always seems to arrive quickly after a busy summer.

One minute we are in the middle of holiday camps and long summer days, and the next school bags are back out, routines have returned and everyone is settling into a new term.

Before we move too far into autumn, I wanted to say a genuine thank you to every family who joined us over the summer and September camps.

We welcomed so many children through our camps, some who have been coming to Rising Stars for years and others who were walking through the doors for the very first time.

What I enjoy most is seeing how quickly children make camp their own. They might arrive unsure about joining a new group or trying an activity they have never done before, and a few hours later they are completely involved.

Those small moments of confidence are often the ones that matter most.

A busy start to the new term

September has brought a change of pace, but Rising Stars certainly has not stopped.

Our wraparound care returned at the beginning of the month, followed by our after-school clubs, which means many of our coaches are now back seeing children during their normal school week.

It is always nice to see familiar faces again in a completely different setting.

And now our attention is already turning towards October Half Term.

This year feels particularly exciting because Rising Stars is growing into a new area. We are opening a holiday camp at Woodlands Primary School in Tonbridge, alongside our October camps in London. The new Woodlands venue has a large playing field, indoor halls and plenty of space for the kind of varied camp days we love delivering.

For us, expanding into a new community is a big step, and we are looking forward to welcoming families who may never have experienced Rising Stars before.

The new school year is well and truly under way, and there is plenty more ahead.

Thank you, as always, for continuing to trust us with your children and for being part of the Rising Stars community.
