Founder’s Message – July 2026

As we begin July, I always find myself thinking about what children will remember when they look back on their summer.

It probably will not be the perfectly planned day or the packed schedule. More often, it is the feeling of being outside with friends, trying something new, laughing at something silly or coming home tired in the best possible way.

That is what summer should give children. Space to grow. Time to be active. A chance to build confidence without even realising it is happening.

At Rising Stars, we see this every year. A child arrives feeling unsure on the first morning, then slowly finds their place. They join a game. They make a friend. They try an activity they would normally avoid. By the end of the week, something has shifted.

That is why this time of year matters so much to us. Summer is not just about keeping children busy. It is about helping them feel capable, included and excited about what they can do next.

As families prepare for the holidays, I want to say thank you for trusting us with your children. Whether you are joining us for camp, booking a party, attending a club or simply following along with the newsletter, we are grateful to be part of your family’s summer.

Here’s to a July full of energy, confidence and memories that last.
